>MOSHI MOSHI, HITSUJI SAMA
<MOSHI MOSHI, HITSUJI SAMA
>MOSHI MOSHI, HITSUJI SAMA
<MOSHI MOSHI, HITSUJI SAMA
>Like a nightmare, these worse echo in our heroine's head, keeping her up all night.
>A sip of brandy becomes a cup, a cup of brandy becomes a pint
>A mysterious book sparkles in her bookshelf, one that she DID NOT put there herself
(She opens the Book, and sees the Symbol of the Macrocosm and with a solemn voice, she KNOWS what to recite)
>Spirit, I summon to appear, speak to me!
>Ah! What tears now at the core of me!
>All my senses reeling
>With fresh feeling!
>I feel you draw my whole heart towards you!
>You must! You must! Though my Life’s lost, too!
(She grips the book and speaks the mysterious name of the Spirit. A crimson flame flashes, the Spirit appears in the flame.)
Spirit
>Who calls me?
Hitsuji-Koyo (Looking away.)
>Terrible to gaze at!
Spirit
>Mightily you have drawn me to you,
>Long, from my sphere, snatched your food,
>And now –
Hitsuji-Koyo
>Ah! Endure you, I cannot!
Spirit
>You beg me to show myself, you implore,
>You wish to hear my voice, and see my face:
>The mighty prayer of your soul weighs
>With me, I am here! – What wretched terror
>Grips you, the Superhuman! Where is your soul’s calling?
(dramatic pause)
>Hitsuji-Koyo collects herself, and with a trembling but sure tone of voice, says
>"SEND ME BACK! LET ME CHANGE MY FATE!"
>The Spirit thinks for 30 seconds and say: "there is a way, there is a manner but it will demand a sacrifice from mankind"
>"Are you willing to impound the very mankind's soul to change what you couldn't?
>"YES!", she said, without any doubt
>The Spirit gleefully smirks, and says
>"I'll send you back in time ONE HUNDRED YEARS"
>"All you have to do on arrival is to move a rock fifteen centimeters to the left"
>"THAT'S ALL?" asks Hitsuji-Koyo, very amazed
>"I can do that!"
>The Spirit pronounces a weird and almost eery chant
(WOOB WOOB WOOB WOOB WOOB WOOB WOOB *sound of rewinding*)
>Hitsuji Koyo sees herself in an unfamiliar landscape, a big conspicuous rock can be seen
>With all her body strength she drags the rock, fifteen centimeters to the left, as requested
(WOOB WOOB WOOB WOOB WOOB WOOB WOOB *sound of fast forwarding*)
>Our heroine wakes up to an alarm in her phone
>"Anniversary stream", it says
>She powers up her computer and a notification pops up, saying
>MANAGER: "MOSHI MOSHI HITSUJI-KOYO!"
>"Don't forget your second anniversary today! Joshu-baa-kun would be sad if you don't start your stream in time!"
>"Also, Watame is waiting for your confirmation for this week 'Battle of the Sheeps' collab, can I confirm on your behalf"?
>With tears in her eyes, Hitsuji-Koyo delivers her second anniversary stream!
>Recounting how she asked "which VR Ping Pong company? What's the name of their vtuber branch?", she and her audience have a hearty laugh
>After two hours of fun, in the very end of the stream, she is reminded by her audience about the impending holiday
>A little confused (and still unfamiliar with the new reality), she asks
>"Haha, which holiday, Joshu-baa-kun?"
(the Spirit can be seen in the background, grinning)
>"Hitsuji-sama ... it's the celebration of the end of World War Two"
>"Axis Victory day, how can you not now that?!"
>"Seventy years ago you would end up in a camp, along with all of the still existing jewish and chinese people!"
>The chat then laughs among themselves, and embarks in off topic conversation about how would the world be if the Axis powers had lost the second world war and jews, koreans, chinese and filipinos still existed in the 21st century
