It won't go away anytime soon because of how close people felt the two were in NijiEN, at the very least it didn't stop the Lunarfairy shipping art last year. I guess it's sort of like that one NijiJP pairing, Crossick was it? IIRC the two just did their own thing and eventually had tons of people asking why they arent together anymore.

All vtubers get shitty messages in maros and streamlabs because they're anonymous and not tied to an account like SCs are. of course you can do burner SCs too but mods strike them down and refund them instantly before the streamer sees them. That's just how it goes.
