The one mentally stable girl who did it really well that I've seen, eventually just stopped and went on to study medicine. Anecdotally I've also been implored to try out streaming and or vtubing because I'd do things like set up full body tracking, use a suit of armor as my model, and focus on going through my backlog of weird niche/old PC games, and I still have zero interest in entertaining an audience over just playing the games myself.
The money would be nice, but I'd make more/have a better time investing my time in other avenues, and this runs true for everyone I've met who would be good at it. The result being the necessary factor to even want to do this kind of stuff is to be someone obsessed with getting attention on them, even at the lowest level of personal investment.
