you can't watch things like Holofes or see moments like the ENs finally meeting in an offcollab after years and think it's just some throwaway entertainment that's completely interchangeable with any other media you conssom just as some way to pass time and half pay attention to it
I feel like opinions like what you started are what actually distinguish people who really understand and 'get' Hololive as a unified thing and those that don't
there really isn't anything else quite like Hololive that exists in the world at this exact moment in human history and I feel like not enough people really appreciate that
Hololive is more than just 'that thing you replaced anime with' 'what you watch when you have no anime or tv to watch' or 'your stand in gf until you get a real one'
and it certainly isn't comparable or interchangeable with any other vtuber company either
