While Gura gets confused over the kind of memes that Gen Alpha are into, Bijou not only understands it but embraces it and makes it apart of her brand. While Gura will stream, at most, 20 times a year; Bijou will stream just as much, if not more, as 2020-2021 Gura. While Gura struggles to get her music projects off the ground, Bijou releases covers left and right like everyone else. Right down to her design, personality, sense of humor and work ethic; Bijou is posed to be the ultimate Gura killer born into Holo EN itself. Gura knows this, that's why she mogs her (It's clear that she does, "LET ME COOK" "NO")
And yet, just like every other "Gura killer" there is, it amounts to nothing. There is no one like Gura and there is no one better at what Gura does. If you think streaming is why reached the top then you are sorely mistaken (she streamed even less as her PL than she does now), if you think a "loli design" is why Gura reached the top you are sorely mistaken.
Gura blew up for the first time because she is one of the pioneers to put EN Vtubing on the map. She reached a million subs on her PL before most HoloJP talents did. And it wasn't because of streams, it was because she was herself. She made silly little shitposts but those shitposts were just her chugging an energy drink, turning her microphone on and saying/singing the first thing that came to her head. And in doing so she took the Vtuber community by storm. And then with a boost from Hololive she took the world by storm. All from being herself.
She struggles to get her music projects off the ground, and yet Reflect is one of the greatest songs to come out of Hololive, going toe to toe with the best of JP's catalogue. You say Bijou "filled the hole left in your heart" and yet you admit Gura is perfect.
It doesn't matter who your oshi is, you all see Gura's greatness. You don't wanna admit it but you know deep down how incredible she is, all of EN sees it, all of JP sees it and you see it.
No wonder she lives in /vt/'s head rent free.
