It was the same when learning english, expressing your thoughts in a second language without struggling to find the words in your limited vocabulary is pretty much the last thing to happen, and can only be acquired naturally, immersing yourself in english-speaking environments. Talking shit in discussion boards like this one is what helped me the most in english, because before doing that all of my interaction with the language was passive consumption. Playing games, watching movies, always just listening and reading, never talking.
