>>73662509Because it’s easier to pinpoint a single thing as the cause or root of all your problems. For many, we believe that the root of the problem lies with Nijisanji management and possibly the livers that had something to do with pushing Selen into committing the actions that led to her termination. That is what we see as the root.
For NDF and sisters, their “root” is Selen. They believe that their oshi wouldn’t be going through what they’re experiencing right now if Selen had never done what she did. Thus, their logic and thinking completely factors out the possibility that she was not in the wrong. She HAS to be wrong. She attempted to commit suicide because she was overreacting and unstable, not for any other possibly legitimate reason. It HAS to be her fault, because there’s no way my oshi is a bad person or that my oshi supports a bad company.
Oh, Uki-mama would never have been laughed at for his anti-white jokes if Selen hadn’t come along.
Oh, milord would be back to streaming normally and we’d be having fun if it weren’t for that stupid bitch Selen.
Oh, Enna/Millie wouldn’t have been pinpointed as the bullies if Selen just hadn’t taken the bullet for upper management like she shoul have.
Oh, Aia wouldn’t have had to feel so shit if Selen hadn’t felt tried to kill herself and fail. If she had succeeded, at least things wouldn’t be like this.
Nijisanji and its livers CAN’T be wrong in their minds because they can’t entertain the thought their oshis aren’t the people they believe them to be. They can’t accept the possibility, let alone the fact, because it means admitting that they could have been wrong.
People tend to have a really fucking hard time admitting they’re wrong. It’s an ego thing.
And ego is something Niji EN’s livers, and its community, has in droves.
