Low Rank quests are literally still part of the tutorial so it's completely fine to breeze through them with a friend. Capcom even gave players the Defender armor after the release of Iceborne for exactly that purpose.
High Rank is when the game actually begins. The sad part is that I've seen idiots who thought that they've finished the campaign the moment they drive away Zorah Magdaros.
So I hope Mori doesn't force herself to grind because I'm sure Biboo would be fine with tagging along on their story quests. It might make for boring content since the pebbles have already seen it, but I dunno. I'm sure some fun moments could be made.
It's only until Master Rank when the game starts being serious though. By that point, everyone has finalized their role in the party to an effective degree. It would be interesting to see how Mori's party would form from this.
