>>73779489Sure anon, Nijisanji is now dumping tons of resources into promoting EN. Giving them their best 3D, giving them opportunities, 3x the merch of any JP member...etc.
And yet, they're still losing subs. They're still losing viewers. Nobody has forgiven them. The ship is sinking and sinking.
They have not apologized. They have not made any significant changes to management. The fundamental problems with the branch have not been fixed.
Here are the problems, I will list them
1) Management is japanese and has no fucking idea what the EN market wants. They are completely unable to judge whether a prospective talent is good or bad and can only judge by PL numbers. Elira's nepo-hires were terrible cunts, but she at least *speaks the fucking english language* so she can judge people for charisma and personality.
2) The gender relations in the branch are absolutely fucked. The males are all doing BFE shit which mostly panders to horny asian women, and repels anyone else. But it understandably raises concerns with the male fans when horny BFE dudes interact with the girls. There are literally no girls-only collabs, they don't exist. If you are a male viewer there is no reason to watch, the girls OR the guys.
-- Talents like Luca, Enna, and Millie make flirting with the other gender a significant part of their content, which breaks the trust between genders. Instead of "friends" it feels more like a flirting situation every time.
-- For some reason there is a malicious attitude about gender. Putting a homosexual guy in what was supposed to be a girl's-wave. Hiring a woman as a male talent and forcing everyone to call them "he". Shoving males into what was supposed to be girl's-only collabs. This is a malicious attitude that can only come from a politically motivated person, probably Elira.
3) Certain favored talents go completely unpunished for their repeated rulebreaking and trustbreaking. Enna, Luca, Millie for example. These people all love breaking the rules too but seem to have immunity from any prosecution.
Reminder that 90% of the viewers in the western market are male. If NijiEN cannot appeal to male or western viewers they have zero chances.
All they can do now is try to shop the branch around Asia and find more asian fujos. That well is running dry already.
Until the fundamental issues with the branch are fixed and the bad eggs are fired there will be no path forward.
