>>7426057lol I'm not even a kanaeyoufag, if anything I'm more of a kanaeboshifag, and I don't actually ship vtubers at all anyway apart from maybe crossick because RPF makes me fucking uncomfortable (and crossick is the exception just because they're an actual couple). Besides, I got into Nijisanji way too late to have seen much kanaeyou stuff firsthand.
I've just had a huge grudge against chronoir fandom and knkz shippers in particular ever since the shirinsou curry collab last year. It was my first time seeing Kanae and Baneki interact, so I was quite curious about it at the time, but when I looked on twitter for discussion half the people I saw only talked about Kanae and Kuzuha's interactions and pretty much willfully ignored the very existence of the girls; heck, some of them even got whiny about the fact Kanae's and Kuzuha's avatars initially weren't next to each other. All it did was give me the impression that that part of the fandom was just another bunch of misogynistic yaoi fangirls, and it's never completely gone away from me since... so no, I don't think it's all that strange to think that a lot of fujos are allergic to their favourite boys interacting with girls.
Disclaimer that I'm not against fujos in general, by the way. I just don't like the knkz crowd, and the fact it's vtubers being shipped instead of fully fictional characters make my feelings messier than they might normally be.
Also, maybe it's just because of what parts of the fandom I have or haven't seen, but I'm surprised to hear that listeners have objected to Kanae collabing with Kuzuha. I swear I've seen more people who not-so-subtly act like Kanae shouldn't have a life outside of Kuzuha (maybe an exaggeration, but I've definitely seen comments on Kanakana's steams saying stuff like "when are you and Kuzuha going to be together again?!?!" even when the last chronoir collab at the time had only been a day or two ago). I guess rabid fandom feelings go to both extremes here as well.
