I'm wondering whether it's worth setting up permanent filters or should I just look elsewhere for good discussion and worthwhile chuubas.

I'm not sure if you're at all familiar with tabletop games, but uh. Good fucking luck.
/tg/ is bad but anywhere but /tg/ is only D&D and MTG.
/vt/ is bad but anywhere but /vt/ is only Korone, Gura and some others.
