Either way, most of the game breaking bugs at release were due to 2 major things:
>The console version that launched was a WIP of the build that they didn't intend to release. They were going to have a day 1 patch that basically downloads the entire game again, but it was already pulled off of the shelves and the digital storefront before they could respond to the backlash.>The PC version was only slightly better, but one of the hotfixes that released apparently reverted all of the changes they made for this build. The game became heavily un-optimized as a result and year-old bugs started popping up again. (The most famous one is having your character T-Pose naked when you ride a vehicle)CD Projekt Red aren't known for their QA and anyone who says so otherwise only hopped in the bandwagon very late when The Witcher 3 had its GOTY Edition. That game on launch was just as bad, if not worse than Cyberpunk 2077.
