Cookie is in the same position, she has over a decade of history on YouTube, and had lots of success too - she had like 20 billion views by the time she got a model, so of course vtuber fans at large won't accept her, especially as she is not streaming, and just does the same content as before for the same target demographic but with a model. The main reason she is promoted and talked about here by peoples is because lots of Phasefags, Sisters and anti's who love to shit on Gura, want to push her as the Gura killer, because all the previous promising ones failed - so their best option now, is to push on a 'vtuber' that 'debuted' at 17.5 million subs. Because I highly doubt that all those promoters actually watch her content, because she is making content for literal children - she is speaking to you like you are 6yo... unless you have a fetish for that, I don't see how you can bear watching that content. Is like watching Dora the Explorer unironically.
