-Kenji is unlikely to suffer any backlash over this. His worst crime is extremely overinflated by /vt/ because Sayufags want everyone who ever displayed even mild disapproval over her past mistakes to die. He reacted to some clips because he does a lot of react and the video of that was uploaded to his react channel. His word choice was bad, but it was a year ago and the video's even gone now.
-Sayu could suffer some backlash from it because she basically put a giant sign over her head telling people to remember things they hated her over. Additionally, her extremely poor word choice is basically inviting people to shit on her. Anyone who starts a statement with "X is bad, but" is telling you that they either don't think X is actually bad or that they think X is acceptable in certain scenarios. Sayu's tweet literally opened with "doxing is bad but" which only makes things worse for her.
-This isn't just Nijisisters. /vt/ desperately wants to believe that everything they don't like is Nijifags but Kenji is a very big indie vtuber. He is in fact, bigger than Sayu. Just because you've never heard of him doesn't mean this isn't true. He has a sizable community of his own that is mixed in with this
-Sayu doesn't have as solid of a footing in Twitch sphere as Kenji does. If you're putting two people in the same circle against one another then it comes down to who's got the better rep and who's more trustworthy / has better evidence. You saw it with shit like Layna vs Bunny, where Layna destroyed Bunny with a mountain of evidence. There isn't much evidence to go by in this situation, but the worst thing Kenji's done in recent memory is make a tweet about that Thai vtuber concert that people got mad at him over, but it was ages ago and nobody's paid him any mind since then. Sayu on the other hand keeps reigniting herself in drama, won't stop talking about her past, and even shittalked VShojo like 2 days after a collab with one of them. She does not have the court of public opinion on her side, and unless she has evidence of Kenji actively targeting and harassing her or something along those line,s then she's extremely unlikely to come out of this on top.
-Kenii's known as the victim in this situation. That obviously doesn't mean he's the victim in every situation as his previous mistakes are well known with him being the issue, but in THIS moment you're coming to a victim and basically implying that what happened to them is karma, when you don't even have the community's full backing on your side.
