The issue isn't JP collab streams, the issue is that they coupled JP collab stream increase with the talk about more JP solo stream increases, that they'd be doing their golden week bid to try and fauster JP Ruffians, and they added in that they'd be streaming less in general.
>JP Collab StreamsA natural way to grow the channel, get people to sub to you for that race for 1m subs. People will drop a follow if you're cute with their Oshi on screen, we've seen this a million times and the JP population has a large chunk of viewers they can tap into for this.
>JP Solo streamsTheir bid to get JP to watch them will happen next week. We can temper our expecations on what to expect what they mean by 'More JP streams for JP Ruffians' when they see what it does for their channel. We could see an increase afterwords, we could see them go back to 1-2 times a month like they've always been. I'd be lying if I said I didn't care about this one, because when you add the next thing into it, there's only so much time they can spend streaming and every JP stream is one less EN stream at this point. Catering to JP Ruffians with solo streams more than every once in a while would ruffle my feathers.
>Streaming lessThis was to be expected and I don't have any issues with it. They've always been forward that there may be a time in the future where they won't have as many streams because they're 'hungry' (re:Will take every project/collab/shill offered). No issues here.
Again, when you put everything together, and wrap it in with 'We understand that this may upset some people and they may leave, but we're going to do what we want', you can see how it might get some actual Ruffians freaked out for a minute. I also don't feel great about the idea that they're pump and dumping JP Ruffians with all this hope of JP solo streams for them, because it's either going to be less EN streams for us or less JP streams for them after they get hooked during golden week, and I think both options are bad.
