If Mulholland Drive is any indication then there will definitely be people being gay with each other. Also a ton of nightmare identity crisis stuff that totally fits in a story about vtubers.

I don't think the OP has seen the show either. It's mostly a show about the stereotypical sexiest male ego in the 60s. Said males run an advertising agency.

I dunno how you'd make that a show though. Cover basically took otaku love for idols but instead of real girls like some ・・・48 Group they used people's deep feelings for 2D.

Never saw mad Men, only seen some memes. So I would probably focus on the 3 main corpos history, more specifically I would show how each agency reacts to their rise, while also observing nijiniggers rise and fall. I'd throw in a subplot where Kizuna's VA has to have sex with me for money after her graduation. Can't be disproven. :D
