People less invested are going to put in even less effort. Heck the works I make come out every two to three years and I think I'm about average.
People still listen to Evanesence's fallen album and such. Not saying the songs or good or bad or whatever, but making something memorable and making it an event might be better than releasing a chapter every time its written.

Part of it is the thumbnails for the videos. What exactly is the face that Mori is making in the thumbnail for Overkill trying to tell me? That she is edgy? That she's constipated? Is she trying to do the YouTuber face that everyone does to get clicks?

I can tell you if a random person was on YouTube and got this in their recommendations, they would probably not click it.

I usually think Mori songs are pretty good, I have a bunch of them saved on Spotify.
But... these newer ones just aren't very good. Not catchy at all.
