Kinda scary the concept of dead subs. Elira lost 100k subs then few thousands from users who log once a month.
This means for most channels, about 70% of their subs are dead subs.

Even non-streaming youtubers keep complaining about muh only <30% of watchers are subscribers, pls subscribe i'm dying etc in their videos
That being said, subscribers are not the only thing Elira actually loses
Her streaming viewership also went down the shitter

CCV is not the most useful metric here though. I only checked a few channels, but most of the Holos seem to get about 15-25% of their subscriber count in vod views after about 2 months for each stream. Nijisanji is closer to 5-10%. That says a lot about which channel has more dead subs.

While it is probably a combination of dead subs, bots, and people pissed at Niji, another thing that could be happening is that people are unsubscribing since she is not coming back to YouTube. Why bother staying subbed to a channel that will never come back?
