This is the first and only time FuwaMoco have genuienly put their own sub growth above their own fans in a very blatant and obvious way that actually makes them look very cynical and speaks very poorly on their character.
I don't think they don't care about the Ruffians at all, the fact tgat they were in tears proves thay they DO, but I think they've made a clear choice to put their growth above the people they've cultivated for the last 8-months.
This wouldn't be a bad thing if they were upfront about the various promises and things they've said and apologized properly for making people think they'd stick to their word. But they didn't, and they will ignore it for the foreseeable future, which makes them look even worse in my opinion.
For example, they didn't do twitter spaces or guerilla streams during their 2-month move because they didn't want their regular viewers to miss out, yet now when they've JUST returned they're immediately doing a fully JP week during JST primetime.
They'd said JP solo streams would be extremely rare and would always be an "extra" stream which wouldn't take the place of an EN stream. Obviously, Their schedule during Golden Week shows that this was either a lie, or a promise they WANTED to keep but were forced to break in order to reach their sub goals.
Again, this would be fine if they were upfront and addressed this. They did not, and they will not.
They said their streaming times will NOT ever change, but if they start doing weekly JP solo streams, they'll have to be at JST primetime. They said they want to do them "occasionally" which is a step up from when they said they would be "extremely rare."
They made impossible and retarded promises that they never should have made, and now they're ignoring this and will ignore all criticism cause in their eyes it's probably worth it in the end because they'll reach their sub goal.
And no, this isn't them "staying true to themselves," because if they were, they never would have promised this stuff in the first place. They literally CRIED because they know they're going back on various things they've said and are putting growth above their fans. That's why they cried anytime someone told them to "be true to themselves."
And another thing, I find it funny how those of who are bilingual ignore the things they've said cause these individuals won't have to worry about "missing out," which is absurd to me unless all of these people, like Gray, actually don't consider their word as anything more than cute babbles you shouldn't take seriously.
If that's the case, then why even watch them? That would make everything they are either a lie or cynical.
I find it hard to believe ANYONE can truly deny anything I've said, especially if you've been here since day one. The whole situation is stupid, and they should be upfront about ALL of this instead of ignoring it.
I'm gonna take some time away from this place and from their streams, at least for a while.
When they come back, whenever it is, and things are the exact way I said in this post(GW fully JP, Weekly JP streams, etc) then I'm tempted to send superchat or something to force them to address the various lies and/or hypocritical stuff they've said, in the hopes that they ACTUALLY give a fully honest and transparent answer.
That is, unless they decide to be upfront and honest instead of ignoring it like they've been doing.
TL;DR: They care about the Ruffians, but they care more about their sub goal and have made the choice to put that above both their word/promises and their fans.
They will not address this and will ignore it forever.
