>>74570466Jesus christ... you guys spend so much time on /numbers that you start thinking, the stock market works the same, and investors follow up streams and the value of the stock is influenced by that.
None of the 'possibilities' have anything to do with reality. Cover's (and Anycolor's) stock was overvalued because it was treated as a tech company. Cover delivered 50% YoY growth in Q3, but even so it was under the market's and analysts' expectations, who anticipated 70% or more, as they got used with +100% growth. So Cover stock lost a couple percents and started to correct itself. Then the Niji drama started and Anycolor's stock dropped, and Cover dropped together with it, because investors don't know anything about Hololive or Niji, they just see that there are just 2 companies in the same industry, so when they drop stock from one they drop from both. Then Niji delivered a bad Q3 report, and the shock spooked Cover's investors too, so Cover's stock went down together with Anycolor. Anycolor took correction measures, like doing buy outs prior to Q3 report, and then bans on sales after it, in an attempt to slow down the collapse. Meanwhile Cover did nothing to interfere with the stock value, and likely is betting everything on the Q4 report, as a result, Cover's decline in the stock value has been almost uninterrupted.
