One of the deep philosophical questions of our age is what's better between winter and summer.
Personally I hate both, or at least I think humans were made to live a couple of meters below the ground were the temperature is stable.
If I had to pick one though, I definitely favor summer.
One of the reasons is material-physical. Women are simply dressed better in summer. They are hotter in summer (ah, such clever multi layered meaning).
In a way even, it's like hot women die in the winter and are born anew in the summer.
The other reason is emotional-physical.
When I am cold, I FEEL the cold. The cold enters the bones, you feel dark, everything hurts more. Cold puts your mind in a dark spot.
The hot sun makes you sweat, it tires you, it makes less hungry. But it doesn't poison you like cold does.
Even when people like winter, when we depict in a positive way, it's about warmth. It's about people around a hearth drinking hot drinks together. Animal warmth, like a stable.
In a way, humans are moths attracted to flames.
