His friend, Khalid, is also a goat herder, but Khalid is a fool and says that Hussein's goat should take responsibility fot her own feeding. Hussein, though, is wise and knows that, if he takes the underfed goat aside and feeds her separately, making sure that she eats enough grain, the goat will stay healthy and continue to produce milk. Hussein's goats produce well and he prospers, whereas Khalid's goats start running away.
