nta but don't they get paid a salary? even if the company calls them contractors any decent court would probably find them to be employees, referring to their employees as contractors is an easy way for companies to avoid having to fulfil legal obligations

Yes but of course they'll deny it. We all experienced a little bit of NEETdom ourselves during the Covid lockdown. Remember how cool it was to sit at home doing nothing and collecting 600 buckeroos a week? Unfortunately that coolness factor had diminishing returns every week we were stuck in our rooms and we all desperately looked for stuff to do and distract us, hence why many of us discovered vtubers.
