>>75202526If they're on the internet the likelihood of their being quite capable at English goes up like 10,000% vs normalfags. Same is true for basically all the West actually as very much have lost count of how many times I heard that someone in like Finland or the Philippines said that if it weren't for the internet they'd barely be able to speak a word of English regardless of whether they were taught it in school but with it and their constantly being around us online they absorbed the language basically and are near-fluent.
I had like 6 years of Spanish in middle/highschool but essentially cannot speak it at all, not out of ill will but just because I never need to speak it in daily life. But if the internet were primarily in Spanish instead of English everywhere I'd probably be pretty adept at it. Contrary to belief we literally are intentionally monolingual ctually most Americans were taught Spanish or French or something for years - we just forget because we never use it, none of our social or media consumption requires it (unless parents speak it at home which is pretty common).
