Considering high level Tekken ended up becoming a jab fest and the race to find the most broken hitbox that auto ducks. Come back in 3 years, Tekken games have a history of being an unpolished mess at the start and gets cleaner the farther your are from release(Tekken 5 base is an unmitigated disaster, T5DR is considered the greatest version of the game ever, Tekken 7 spent 2-3 years in arcades before it got released for consoles. Same thing here)
SF6 is just the dev being hyper conservative because the west absolutely hatws the system mechanics and the hyper offensive focus the game is and want the return to the "neutral-focused" game that was SF5. And the fact they want things to turn into SF5 says all you need to know to not listen to them. And besides, Japan is popping off with the game attracting major sponsorships, tournaments and vtubers to participate. So they have no incentive to listen to the west. You know why I keep pointing out how Japan centric SF6 is? Because they had an arcade location test in Japan and no one in America knew until Twitter posts started rolling out.
