Then, after seeing the inevitably angry reaction to it, were so full of malice they decided to attack her again, and drove a suicidal girl trying to play NeoPets off the air while claiming there's no harassment going on.
Evil doesn't begin to describe it. Evil is usually at least selfish and acting in its own interest, or at the very least enjoying the suffering it creates, but what Niji did is entirely beyond the pale.
Between the work environment, and their willingness to tell several hundred thousand angry fans that maybe one or more of their talents drove their oshi to suicide, one way or the other, eventually, that place is going to get someone killed. When that happens, it'll wreck the whole industry, as it'll hit prime time news, and thus legislating concerned boomers will get involved. The resulting regulation could ultimately put an end to vtubing in the west. Heck, it could become a vs. Japan thing and even ruin access to anime in general.
So yes, unironically, they must be destroyed, before they get someone killed and destroy everyone else.
