Progressivism also has a sexual culture, as many political movements do, even if it isn't at the center or even talked about much. A guess would be that Hololive is seem to be pandering to male tastes, which they would argue is sexist because straight male taste are kind of sexist by default within progressive analysis. I guess if Hololive had that tumblr style they would defend it because then it would be seem as closer to progressive ideology. This is why it doesn't help to look at polical movements as this super rigid things, yes they should promote it since its largely a female space driven by women, but the whole thing is really a little too second eave feminist by now, particularly from a western progressive lens. Also this is not exclusive to progressivism but more like a quirk of political movement, an example on the right is many people who push "trad" views pushing a game like Stellar Blade because its the opposite, a feminized female character even if its technically very second wave feminist in its own way, and as such not very "trad". Dont look for strict ideology in politcal movements, sometimes things are just opportunistics or just not very logical, which to he fair is how people are and movements are full people.
