The one based on her words, is that genuinely, Mint seemed really bumped out of being a Vtuber and being back to streaming in the beginning. She truly didn’t know what to do, or how long would she stay. So, out of that, it’s quite easy to understand that maybe Mint did got an offer or thought about it, but rejected the idea out of fear of jumping into another company right from the get go. Realistically, VShojo wouldn’t be as bad for her, but it’s still a unit, it’s the same thing Nyanners said before about her leaving because whatever she was up to, it came down in everyone. There’s basically the pressure of fanbases, the pressure of being in a group and more that Mint probably didn’t want at the moment, and she wanted to first, get used to being Mint and having fun with it. She could stay as indie with a manager or join a group, but it wasn’t the time to do so. Luckily for her, I don’t think VShojo would really care if she joined late. Kson took a whole year to join. Which leads me into the second theory.
The crack pipe one, could be a contractual stuff with Nijisanji. Things change over the months and I’m sure Niji probably wasn’t too happy with what Matara and Kuro pulled, that stuff could have shifted before she quit. I mean, Michi took 4 months to be added, and her model concept was finished literally 6 month ago
For what it’s worth, Mint had a meeting two days prior (could be podcast stuff) and she recently got a Twitch channel
