>KMNZ, a JP group, teases 3 new members for their group, who will be revealed on 5/25.

Indies
>ASMR enthusiast and GyaruCast member Kumo Kuddelmuddel had her Patreon account terminated on her 3rd anniversary. Patreon cited ToS violations for the termination, and Kumo is attempting to recover the account now. The content itself is not lost, and will be distributed on other platforms for the time being.
>Clear Usui, rocket autist/idol chuuba, will have a collaboration with the EarthCARE satellite launch in May.
>Bugbugh, an EN spider Vtuber, debuted on 5/11. A random commentor stated "I wish Spiders were real."
Other
>KAMITSUBAKI FES '24 THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, a music event involving a number of vtubers, will be held on 8/8.
>A Minecraft JP event will be held on 5/18 and 5/19, involving a number of vtubers.
>GamerSupps, longtime sponsor of Everybody, condemns AI-generated images, particularly those used in the creation of the label for their newest flavor, "Strawberries & Cream". As a result, this flavor will not be restocked for the forseeable future.
>AniLive, the Vtubing App used by NEXAS, releases in Open Alpha on the Apple App Store as of 5/12. Android will be coming "up next" when it's ready.

>Dokibird announces Wrestletuber 2024, an event in WWE 2k24 involving indies, IdolEN, former PRISM talent, VShojo, Phase Connect, and Holostars EN. The event will take place on 5/25 and 5/26, involving created wrestlers from both talent and fan submissions.
Local
>Lisa and Tonya step down from IndieCar and will transfer to CorpoCar in Season 6. Talent Freedom 100 winner Tomoe Umari and part-time driver Monarch will enter the IndieCar in their stead.
>The first weekend of Ogey Calibur concludes, with Phase Coffee leading in the group points. Brackets for the event will occur next weekend, starting 5/17.
