Vtubers are only in it for the money. They do not care about you, they see you as a paypig, completely disposable. They could not give less of a shit about their model, their friends, their game choice or anything that gets in the way of extracting cash from their audience. No one has ever been able to refute this, because the amount of vtubers who do it solely for fun and have a big CCV is literally zero. You CANNOT name anyone above 2view status who has not in some way tried to merchandise or crowdfund their "lifestyle" through merch, monetization, sponsors or so on. There is NOT A SINGLE VTUBER who didn't sell out once they found success, because they do not see this as a real passion, it is ENTIRELY about dollar / yen signs and you are a genuine fool if you think any of them are sincere or authentic about vtubing as a medium.

Ask yourself: If your oshi was deplatformed or lost the ability to make an income with streaming, would they still stream? Of course not, it's not even open to nuance, because none of them care and just want paypigs to finance their life. Same goes for fleshtubing, but not nearly as egregious.
