>>75865567>>75878549A blockchain is a set of data that is cryptographically linked (chained) to each previous block of data, making it impossible to modify data of previous blocks of the chain without rewriting everything that comes after. The purpose of a blockchain is to decentralize who can put data on the chain. If everyone can do it then you need to verify whose submission is valid and accepted. It has nothing to do with what is actually stored in the blocks.
NFTs are data sets whose transfers are stored on a blockchain to make it tamper-safe. NFTs are worthless because they merely link to data that is stored normally on a regular server because the actual filesize of the data you actually want is too prohibitively large to store on the blockchain cost effectively. You basically can only own the unique url to the thing you actually want. And anyone can make another link to the same thing, or the target of the link can just change into something else.
This is just a simple database of items with a variable on each item. It doesn't even require any tracking. It has nothing to do with blockchain or NFTs even if it did have tracking. The authority of putting data in the database is on the owner of said database, therefore you don't need any validation on the data by making a blockchain. Whatever the owner says is true is true.
