Fishman really shot himself in the foot with this one. It doesn't matter if she fucking killed somebody, but repossessing her model was seriously bad optics for any potential "invaders". Lisa would rather die than lose her model and persona.

There are ex-Tsuns that joined Phase with different channels, names and models. Phase doesn't own Purin. It has to be a different reason and I think it's Pippa. If she went to Phase, she'd have the "Gura's sidekick" problem Ame had early on.

I would have to agree. Terminate the business relationship and blacklist her from future projects if the transgression was that bad, sure. But if she joined with her own model, then she gets to leave with her own model. Phase had no hand in funding, making or developing that IP.

Yeah Fishman fucked up pretty bad with Yuri's termination. Even if the rrats anons peddle are true and Yuri somehow voluntarily gave her IP up which I really fucking doubt why wouldnt you specify that in the termination notice? That'd go a long way in proving the separation was at least somewhat amicable.

truth is after she said no to sakana he found Jelly and she was a much bigger prize for him, then he did a double whammy getting clara so at that point Lisa wasn't a priority and with their timelines things just wouldn't have lined up

There were large amounts of fans both /here/ and on twitter/in vtuber chats/other places that were spamming ex tsun girls and indies to apply for phase last year. Several chuubas even had to publically adress the phase spam, and you can imagine how bad it was for pippa's biggest friend at the time. It was definetly not relugated to a small handful of shiposters, stop lying.

Here's my rrat:
Idol offered her a bigger base monthly salary/stipend than phase, perhaps in exchange for a smaller amount of donations/superchat, which fit Lisa's needs of a stable incoming for moving the fuck away from her domineering and borderline abusive mother.
Idol potentially also has some music industry connections that we don't know about. Phase hasn't been exactly huge on music content.

Neither idol nor phase have salaries, their pay is based on monthly donations/merch etc. 99% of Corpo vtubing is exactly the same as this, I have no idea why the fuck people think independent contractors have salaries

It was absolutely not limited to just those messages, they were just the visible ones. Several other ex-Tsunderia members and a few other vtubers had to make public statements telling poachbeggars to stop spamming their private messages at the time too.
