This is mainly caused by the poor amount of mental health care in Asian countries.
Very little emphasis is placed on the emotional and psychological wellbeing in these types of societies. In addition to that, mental health disorders are shunned and shamed. As a result, many children in Asian countries/households resort to poor forms of "self-medication".
These forms of "self-medication" include:
>Pornography usage>Excess video game consumption>Excess internet browsing>Sexual promiscuity>DrugsAn unstable or lack of an emotional safety net/support system is not conducive to the long-term wellbeing of individuals or society as a whole.
IF an increased emphasis was placed on the emotional/psychological stability of individuals, I personally believe there would be less insane vtubers and less promiscuous vtubers as a whole.
>Post scriptum: also, Asians don't really work out as much. So they don't really have an outlet for stress.Again, please take my statements with a heavy amount of salt as these are my own opinions after reading through several studies.
