If you're making music or something before this it's unlikely you'll have stopped, but for the stream-centric candidates it's another story.
Maybe Cover is banking on the fact that if you can really be trusted for it, as a 2view you'll still be streaming as usual even now, allowing them to do guerilla private vetting, and you should still be available after months of no reply because all this new job would be doing is replacing something you already made time for. It also means you can independently sustain your supposed passion without needing to lean on them.
If you started streaming just to get some portfolio to aim for holoEN2 and you wouldn't be doing it without it being profitable, then you'll probably have stopped by now or dropped stream frequency drastically, which would bite you in the ass if you were in their final or second-to-final round of checks.
What would be interesting is to see the number of indies who spontaneously retire after holoEN gen 2 is announced, and how many of them started after holoEN.
