>>76297128Ok, let's actually drop some actual fact shit on why Doki is getting the good treatment, and that's...her winning the last match.
This board probably has not seen the last Sajam Slam outside Rosemi, but yes she jobbed hard despite being put in the same bracket as people who are considered FGC creators, people the community respects, so she was looked down as a shoe-in into a bracket she should not be. FGC is VERY meritocratic, if you get smashed, they treat you as someone who gets smashed; so if you talk big but then get 0-2 hard, they hate you for skipping the grades.
Doki first of all started at noob level, where she belonged, which people liked because you stay in your place. Then she didn't win much but showed she can learn and especially have fun, which means she climbed the stair without bitching or skipping steps, again, big plusses as the community likes people who do their job.
She talks a lot of shit but adds herself to the self-pity, which is the right way to be an heel and people like that, and was in a team that does that every time, the perfect missing piece of the full-heel Brawlpro team.
Then we get to the final piece. Brawlpro was the runner up last time who lost after Super, the one in place of Doki, jobbed hard and never clicked well with the team.
When she won her match against Eskay, it was the final piece that made the entire community shift, as it became a "history change this time" moment that was cemented with Brawlpro winning the entire thing 3-0 on Jack Jesus.
TL;DR she stayed in her place, played heel in the heel team, learned the game and respected the path, and didn't job when needed. This is EXACTLY the type of person Sajam and those who follow it want, and her clicking with the team cemented her in the FGC community.
