The Creator Economy Association established a subcommittee to consider countermeasures against libel and slander. This subcommittee is made up of three companies, UUUM Inc., ANYCOLOR Inc., and Cover Inc., which work on measures against defamation of affiliated creators.
In addition to the announcement of the establishment, this subcommittee will be joined by 12 supporting companies, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the Metropolitan Police Department's Criminal Investigation Department, the Safer Internet Association (SIA), the Social Media Usage Environment Improvement Agency (SMAJ), and the law firm Authense. With the support of the law firm GVA Law Office, the three companies also announced specific efforts to combat defamation, including claims for damages and collaboration with the police.
