At least 2 of every one of those gens have been runaway successes by any metric you use. And we already know their main source of revenue is from merch and licensing deals. Superchats are just the tip of the iceberg. Every gen has had at least 1 runaway success. And the rest have been succesful - just not as successful as the lead talent of each gen. There is no 3 view shitter.

The thing you're not considering is this - it would take Miko, Pekora, Gura, Suisei, Subaru and Marine to all go in quick succession. They have breathing room. The problem with Dev-Is is not personnel, it's how Cover has marketed them. Like they're supposed to different but how are they different to any other gen?

Due to Melody's other content she cannot be the flagship simply because advertisers hate that. Kson doesn't have the numbers anymore or the advertising pull, same for Haruka and Hime. Basically neither do Froot or Zentreya. And do you really want Matara or Kuro leading the line? Imagine the shithousery that would happen. That leaves Henya as the only realistic flagship. Vshojo survived Vei, Silver and Nyanners leaving because those that remained were close knit and there was already a clear rift between the remaining talents and those 3- it's Mouse's world and they're just living in it. They were the only clique once those 3 left.
