Since a lot of them are retail investors who simply heard vtubing is a big trendy thing and Anycolor is the biggest company, they don't know the precise details of how they make money but have been told things are going well and the EN branch is very successful etc. I mean, it was, like two years ago. If they realize it's actually literally gone to total shit now they'd maybe get skittish that this branch that was like a third of the company income at one point that they were stating they were going to pivot on and prioritize has now completely crapped out, they'd be less bullish about the company and holding its stock.
In any case the Selen situation alone already exposed the real state of things in the branch to the world already, they're just pretending real real real hard that this didn't happen and wait a sec look over there, more new livers. Evidently it's not working but anyone would be a Nostradamus for predicting this outcome. I honestly don't even know what they could do to turn their ship around, fucking steps 0, 1 and 2 all involve fucking groveling at the feet of the public over how Selen was treated, the black stream, and the overall dismissive arrogance and dissembling arrogant behavior of the EN livers. But I think they literally would rather die and have the branch dissolve than eat some humble pie.
