Not sure how Scarle managed to get out of it but I imagined given she hearted Kurosanji that it was something already about her conduct or etc. teetering on stealth suspension that made management not take over and retweet it at that time. The selection for the people who did vs didn't do it is odd.
Also, Ren is only decent because he's one of the few functioning human beings in that company, but he should really quit given he is married already and clearly only doing it for fun and it is just marring his reputation the longer he's in there.
