The streams that took place last night all happened pretty much as expected. There was Mouse hanging out and singing. There was Mel getting drunk and delivering a stream of consciousness. And of course we had Zen and Froot breaking their "No Apex August" challenge only 8 days into the month. But the big event was one that was actually unannounced. A spur of the moment collab between Vei and Snuffy in one of the best games for that kind of collab, AI Dungeon. Things began a bit slow with various attempts at adventuring that just seemed to be missing something. Some spark that would have taken the stream to the next level.
And so they turned off safe mode. Instantly the stream transformed into something memorable, and so absurd the vod has actually been removed because things got a little rowdy at times. While there's far too much to recount in a simple summary I will say that the recurring character of Jeffy Bengalz, which is Jeff Bezos's fursona, is something we won't soon be forgetting. While AI Dungeon was certainly the highlight of the night you can't forget the brief, strange game of Geogeussr that they played after, which emphasized just how hopeless the pair are when it comes to geography. There will almost certainly be people who saved it and can post it for you in the thread below so until an official version surfaces that'll be the only way to see it.
It was a great sendoff to a Saturday night as we move into Sunday, our normal quiet day of the week. While there could always be surprises like the drunk Uno collab last week, it's best to not get your hopes up as it could lead to disappointment. So come into the day with a clear head, get comfy, and bring that comfy energy to the thread by ignoring bait and being excellent to each other.
