It's an apartment building, not a literal house.

The point was simply getting a lot of holos living close enough to each other that offcollabs would be quick and easy to do. Though management put a damper on the "quick and easy part", or even the idea of Coco collabs in general towards the end.

Well, it kinda flopped in JP, but Hololive ID basically has it. A lot of the ID girls share a house. All of their first gen. The results have been pretty chaotic.

It's a shame that Hololive EN is so spread out around the planet, they can't even just casually hang out together except online.

I mean the difference for the holohouse would be that it wouldn't be a 'streamer house's but like an apartment complex reasonably close enough such that offcollabs become easier to do as well as providing easier support due to irl proximity.
It still has its flaws mind you but it does circumvent the single house problem other streamer houses had/have.
