>>76869918The lockdownds didn't make it 'more difficult' it made it straight impossible. Coming to Japan, to then enter a 2 week quarantine before being able to do anything, then another 2 week quarantine when you returned to your country - it wasn't very practical. Plus, nobody really had any idea how much the lockdowns will last. You could very well go trough all of that, to then have the country open up the very next week. So they had to wait until the lockdowns ended.
