Pretty interesting set of goods! I enjoy stuff that I can actually use in my every day life, I drink tea out of her other tea cup almost every day. I'm always a little paranoid that it breaks on the way here, but that hasn't happened to me so far. I'll probably pick up the full set from her goods and also her individual 1kisei goods, but I'll skip the champagne glass. Might pick up an extra Sukonbu spoon as well, it's pretty cute.
She talked quite a lot about the new song, Secret Garden. Apparently, they did some sort of tender for the song and actually received over 100 different song proposals from different artist. The themes were supposed to be "princess, sparkling, cute" and they envisoned something close to a Honeyworks song or their previous song Plasmagic Seasons. Shirakami listened to all of the songs and this one stuck out to her immediately from the first couple of seconds with the dramatic intro because it was SO different from all the others and she got hooked immediately. It reminds her of an early to mid 2000s era anime intro, like Rozen Maiden or also Revolutionary Girl Utena. They had a meeting shortly thereafter with Aki and Haachama and Shirakami had to find a way to get them to agree to pick this one. She left the meeting go normally, it took like 2-3 hours and they picked up a few candidates they could agree one if Matsuri approves, but at the very end Shirakami brought up this song and said she had another one that she wants everyone to listen to that is actually her top pick. Haachama thought it would be interesting to go for this one so she agreed, Aki wasn't entirely convinced yet. She thought there was no chance that Matsuri would agree because she really likes the cute and sparkly Honeyworks stuff that most of the other song proposals were, but she unexpected really liked it as well and they settled on going for it. When they told management about their decision, they were also very surprised they picked this one. She herself is really happy that they ended up with this song and loves it a lot, and thinks she might even like it better than their previous song.
As for the visuals, they kind of ended up going with the aforementioned Revolutionary Girl Utena vibe with three Princess Knights and one actual Princess in a white dress. Matsuri ended up deciding who is going to be the princess by the luck of the draw (picrel) and Fubuki won. She said she didn't necessarily wish to be the princess and would have probably picked to be a Princess Knight if asked, but this is the way it ended up. Another theme was the roses, and she said that the individual colors of the roses also have different meanings and that they ended up fitting each of their personalities pretty well, so that was nice. A major theme of the song is apparently that they aren't just weak and frail women, but that even Princess can have a strong side.
