>>77193540>thats a lot of bullshitNta, but he's correct. Sora is/was a jk the way that Marine is 17. You're an idiot and I see you all the time going around to different threads and repeating their "lore" as if it were real. Fuck off, retard.
Also, Sora never said they were in high school or just out of it. She said that she and A-chan knew each other and were friends in high school, which is probably true based on their interactions in Sora's first videos. She also said she was "around 20" a few years ago, but again, this is part of her character.
The reality is Sora wanted to become an Ai clone and Yagoo wanted to make his VR tech company more like upd8t. Yagoo demoed his 3D capture tech in March 2017 and Sora debuted 6 months later. It's unknown how they met, but Sora probably auditioned or had her voice sample up on a voice acting website like where upd8t found Nozomi Kasuga.
In 2018, after a few months, the three of them recruited Roboco.
They wanted to expand and be more like upd8t with a larger amount of talent under them and so Yagoo hired some managers and announced auditions for 1st gen of hololive. Five girls passed the audition, including Fubuki, Matsuri, Haato, Hitomi Chris, and Aki and these five were officially announced as 1st gen. Mel debuted as the third member of hololive and one month later, first gen debuted.
This is probably what

Haato was 16 at the time and auditioned because she was studying abroad in Australia and had nothing to do. Chris was thought to be 16 or 17 as well.
1st gen debuted and Chris had a scandal immediately. The person who gave her her streaming equipment went to twitter and told how she had promised to give him sexual favors in exchange, but she never followed through and ghosted him.
Chris' contract was terminated and her channel was deleted. The man was an adult and so police may have been involved, but he was never charged.
I'm not sure if Mel was adopted into first gen like Irys to fill Chris' position or if she was always supposed to be part of 1st gen, but she ended up being part of it as well.
The Sakura Miko Project was announced and then Miko debuted 2 months after 1st gen. Then 2nd gen debuted later the same month.
That's the early history of hololive.
Haato, Chris, and Shion were the only underage members.
