Can you have a successful career both in being a vtuber and being your IRL self on youtube?

I know a few of them do it with their roommates. shirogane still does tiddy streams once in a while.

Kson/not-Coco started using a vtuber avatar under the same name even though everyone already knows what she looks like. That’s literally exactly what Pokimane did. So far it seems to be working fine for her, despite how ugly her avatar is

You can quite literally do anything and find success as a female streamer. (Or even just think you are, look at the recent Sodafunk debacle.) Men will offer to pay you money as a thank you for existing and having a vagina. VTubing is just a lot easier than piling on makeup and buying a high-def camera.

Another curious case is Nijikawa Laki who did a face reveal at her graduation and was revealed to be Chocola's seiyuu from Nekopara. There's also YUA who's alleged to be Akari's seiyuu.
