I think the real moment the change started happening was when Aqua just dropped a cold chicken joke to Pekora's face and basically killed any passive tension between them. It was such a socially retarded move on Aqua's part that even Pekora was going "based" at how absurd it was. I think after that Pekora realized that Aqua wasn't secretly resentful of her and is actually just an autist, and Aqua realized that Pekora didn't hate her personally and is actually just an autist.
