I had that done not too long ago and the feeling of your face being numbed was beyond strange and my jaw still feels odd even now, you notice the change in shape from the missing tooth
I posted about it here in fact and anons told me it would all be daijoubu
it was not daijoubu, it was freaky desu (but hurt less than I thought as was said)
