>I will use a Japanese word while speaking English, not because there is no accurate English equivalent, but because I saw a Japanese person use it
>my choice of which Japanese words to use will be based entirely around what's easiest for me to recognize as a non-Japanese speaker
This has and will always be cringe, and it applies to all languages, like when a white girl spends a week in France and starts saying croissant "the correct way."
There is no logical reason why you guys use "zatsu" and "totsu" but don't use "kawaii" and "sugoi."
It is the exact same thing as the classic 2007 weeaboo speak, don't pretend you're any better.
