Before you can find a light out of the darkness that surrounds you, you must let go of the blinkers of normalcy bias, any mistaken assumption that such sorts might represent some kind of 'balance' or 'equivalent pole' or other rough sense of parity in society - that they are comparable with you and everyone else, just differing in some inconsequential matters of taste. On the contrary, such sorts of creatures form no component or expression of any aspect of a functional, flourishing civilization, except it's ultimate negation. When you understand that it is meet and right to censure such behavior, to Physically Remove such creatures that engage in such behavior from society in general, and that it would be just as well to feed such creatures into a woodchipper to make fertilizer - the only real value they would ever be capable of producing in this existence - that is when hope for a brighter future enters the realm of possibility, when it becomes possible for you to know good, and fight for it even.
