Doing it in a Souls game is just taking on Challenge / Punishment Mode because there is no rhyme or rhythm to parrying, and no way to know what the mechanic even works on. It's a play-style that DEMANDS from you the intention of getting hit over and over until you figure out how to time a parry in an unknown attack animation with a nearly random placement of a parry window, or there might not even be a parry window.
